Everyone is invited to attend these upcoming events being hosted by the club Viva Latinx in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15).
T-shirt painting on THURSDAY, OCT. 5:
Viva Latinx will be hosting this event outside on the JAYwalk from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come paint a plain white T-shirt to keep in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Just show up, and we will give you all the materials needed to create an awesome T-shirt. Limited supply of shirts. (First-come, first-served basis).
Poetry festival on MONDAY OCT. 9:
Poets from all over the world are coming to share their poems with the OWU community. They will share their poems from 6-8 p.m. in Room 301 of Merrick Hall. Afterward, Viva Latinx will have food in the Stuy Cave at 8:30 p.m. This dinner is open to everyone.
