Watch out everyone! There’s a Bitch on campus today! Bitch Media is a nonprofit, independent, feminist media organization dedicated to providing and encouraging an engaged, thoughtful feminist response to mainstream media and popular culture.
Lisa Factora-Borchers is the editorial director at Bitch Media. Her talk at 6:30 p.m. in Milligan Hub will explore the most effective ways to combat social and personal shaming and silence. It will highlight the ways media and feminism can help shape voice, identity, and community while also laying out a road map of areas where we still need to continue to do the work.
