Nov. 14 – Clowns and Cotton Candy in Ham-Wil!

The Student Involvement Office invites you to visit a cotton candy making clown from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Ham-Wil atrium Tuesday, Nov. 14. Come enjoy a FREE cone of cotton candy!

Machine-spun cotton candy was invented in 1897 by dentist William Morrison and confectioner John C. Wharton. It was first introduced to a wide audience at the 1904 World’s Fair as “Fairy Floss” with great success, selling 68,655 boxes at 25¢ per box (equivalent to $6 per box today).
