The 2017 Benjamin F. Marsh Lecture on Public Affairs speaker is Susan Phillips Read, retired Judge, New York State Court of Appeals (New York’s Highest Court). Judge Read is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Chicago School of Law. The title of her lecture is “Judicial Personae: Thoughts on the Wellsprings of Appellate Judging”.
The Benjamin F. Marsh Lecture Series on Public Affairs has funded 17 lectures since 2000.
