Butler A. Jones Lecture on Race and Society on March 21

Minnesota State Representative Ilhan Omar, the first Somali-American, Muslim woman in the United States to be elected to a State Legislature, is the guest speaker for the 23nd Annual Butler A. Jones Lecture Series on Race and Society. Sponsored by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology with the Office of Minority Student Affairs, Chaplain’s Office, International Studies Program, Department of Politics and Government, Department of Modern Foreign Languages, Women’s and Gender Studies Program and Black World Studies Program.
