American University of Antigua College of Medicine (AUA) is one of the top four US modeled medical schools in the Caribbean. Graduates are able to apply for residency and licensure in all 50 US states following successful completion of United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). The program consists of two years in Antigua (following a true two semester per year system) and then two years of clinical rotations in the United States, where they are affiliated with over 35 teaching hospitals.
