“How We Got Trump & Clinton: 1968 Election & Politics of Division” on Sept. 21

Michael Cohen is columnist for the Boston Globe and for World Politics Review, and political correspondent for the London Observer. He authored “American Maelstrom: The 1968 Election and The Politics of Division” and “Live from the Campaign Trail: The Greatest Presidential Campaign Speeches of the 120th Century and How They Shaped Modern America.” Michael previously served in the US Department of State as chief speechwriter for US Representative to the UN Bill Richardson and Undersecretary of State Stuart Eizenstat. He has been a fellow at the New America Foundation and Century Foundation.
