The Franklinton Food-Health-Wellness Corps is an nine-member, neighborhood-based, Americorps VISTA project that focuses on building capacity with various community organizations that serve in Columbus Ohio’s near-West side neighborhood of Franklinton. Franklinton is one of Columbus’ most impoverished communities, and many residents face difficulties in regard to food security, and access to adequate healthcare and wellness programs.
