Co-taught by dancer Megan Yankee and musician, John Osburn, this class is designed to help students investigate the relationship between music and dance in the context of improvisational practice and performance. Based on experience in the contact-improvisation jam setting, Yankee and Osburn aim to help dancers tune in to the fine details and subtle shifts of improvised music and develop their unique movement response.
