10TV Event to Impact Chappelear Parking Oct. 26

Dear Campus Community,

Ohio Wesleyan will host a live “Maria’s Message” event Monday, Oct. 26, on the Main Stage in Chappelear Drama Center. The free community presentation will feature 10TV sports anchor Dom Tiberi discussing the death of his daughter, Maria, and sharing information about distracted driving. He will be joined by several 10TV colleagues and special guests including Ohio First Lady Karen Kasich.

To accommodate this public event, 10TV will be bringing a production truck to campus, running cables to record the presentation, dressing the Main Stage, etc. As a result, Ohio Wesleyan will close the small parking lot behind the drama center (accessing the building’s loading dock) from very early Monday morning through Monday night. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Please consider attending this potentially life-saving presentation. According to incident reports, 11% of drivers under 20 involved in fatal crashes were distracted at the time of their crashes.

Admission is free, but you’ll need to register online and print your tickets in advance. Here is the RSVP link: http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2015/10/12/marias-message-presentation-ohio-wesleyan.html

Thank you for time and consideration.
