If you would like to send a recipient(s) a congratulatory message, feel free to email them directly or click the link and we will send the message to them!\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/youareowu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bit.ly\/youareowu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The April 2020 You are OWU award recipients are Joe Peterson, Jason Cox, and Laurie Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>Joe and Jason&#8217;s nominators shared, &#8220;During this time of quarantine, Jason &amp; Joe have bent over backwards to help me with a tiny tech issue. They were both readily available, even though both were busy with many other, more important tasks. Both are always positive, proactive, and professional. &#8230; Jason and Joe are always patient and helpful in every interaction, going above and beyond to identify and solve issues when those issues both are and occasionally aren&#8217;t my own fault. I&#8217;m fortunate and grateful to call them colleagues and friends.&#8221;<br \/>\nNominators: Cole Hatcher and Nancy Rutkowski<\/p>\n<p>Laurie&#8217;s nominator explained, &#8220;Dr. Anderson is constantly doing something new, interesting, and relevant for the OWU community, whether she&#8217;s speaking to take a stand for a clean water bill at OWU&#8217;s Mock Convention or helping offer OWU&#8217;s free online course about COVID-19.
