What should I eat to stop my stomach from obnoxiously grumbling?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is a common concern, especially with those poor souls that are taking O-Chem. I\u2019ve been there and know the struggle, so what should we do?<\/p>\n<p>To stay fuller for longer it is best to eat foods that are rich in protein, fiber and healthy fats. Good foods to keep you satiated for longer include; eggs, avocados, quinoa, beans, lentils, chickpeas, sweet potatoes, broccoli, almonds and peanuts. In the morning having oatmeal with almonds and fruit with some eggs on the side is a perfect breakfast to keep you full. It is also great to take advantage of \u201cToast Tuesdays\u201d at Ham-Wil. Get some toast with avocado and egg and your stomach won\u2019t interrupt your professor in your next class.<\/p>\n<p>For lunch, try to leave some room on your plate for hummus and vegetables. Smith always has a hummus option at the salad bar, I would recommend piling it on your plate. If you are at Ham-Wil, try a side of cottage cheese and fruit! The cottage cheese has a high amount of protein that will keep you full for longer as well.<\/p>\n<p>The health center now has a Dietetic Intern!
