Join the Bishop Backers on Saturday, Feb. 16, for Community Day 2019, a free Delaware celebration at Ohio Wesleyan.<\/p>\n
The event will feature a women\u2019s and men\u2019s basketball doubleheader vs. Denison, a Delaware expo with indoor children\u2019s play area courtesy of the Delaware Community Center YMCA, a visit from Columbus Zoo animals and Delaware Humane Society dogs, free raffles for prizes (including a big-screen television), and a chance to learn more about service opportunities and businesses in the community.<\/p>\n
The OWU Campus Store will be on site selling official Bishop Backers gear, and some of the Interfaith Service Teams will be selling food, tie-blankets, and more to support their upcoming Spring Break service trips.<\/p>\n
Community Day includes free admission with a canned food donation to benefit the Delaware County Hunger Alliance for all who attend the basketball doubleheader.<\/p>\n
The women\u2019s game tips off at 1 p.m., and the men\u2019s contest follows at\u00a03 p.m.\u00a0The\u00a0community expo will be held from\u00a0noon to 3:30 p.m.\u00a0in the field house. The zoo will be on campus from\u00a02:15-3:15 p.m.<\/p>\n
