{"id":71909,"date":"2018-09-21T08:00:42","date_gmt":"2018-09-21T12:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=71909"},"modified":"2018-09-19T15:50:52","modified_gmt":"2018-09-19T19:50:52","slug":"wcsas-faculty-student-committee-has-vacancies-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/wcsas-faculty-student-committee-has-vacancies-2\/","title":{"rendered":"WCSA&#8217;s Faculty-Student Committee has Vacancies!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty-Student Committee currently has two vacancies!\u00a0The role that students play on this committee is to offer input on issues from a student perspective.<\/p>\n<p>General functions of the committee, as defined by the Faculty Handbook, are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1) To inform the campus community about assessment and assessment issues.<\/p>\n<p>2) To offer assistance to academic departments and administrative units in the construction and implementation of assessment plans and assessment instruments.<\/p>\n<p>3) To develop and implement, in consultation with academic departments and others, an assessment plan for our general education program.<\/p>\n<p>4) To respond to the Higher Learning Commission&#8217;s initiatives regarding assessment.
