{"id":133563,"date":"2026-10-30T08:00:29","date_gmt":"2026-10-30T12:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=133563"},"modified":"2026-10-29T19:15:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T23:15:07","slug":"former-staff-member-linda-honeter-passes-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/former-staff-member-linda-honeter-passes-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Staff Member Linda Honeter Passes Away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are sad to share that Linda Kay (Ayers) Honeter, 78, passed away peacefully Oct. 28 at her Ostrander home.<\/p>\n<p>Linda worked at Ohio Wesleyan for more than 30 years, primarily in housekeeping and food service.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legacy.com\/us\/obituaries\/name\/linda-honeter-obituary?id=62862431\">her obituary<\/a>, her family shares that \u201cLinda has always been a person who believed in \u2018family first.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to cooking \u201cthe best meals and desserts,\u201d including family favorites of potato salad and chicken paprikash, \u201cLinda\u2019s favorite pastime was anything involving being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Calling hours will be from 4-6 p.m. Nov. 2, with a funeral ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 3, both at Snyder Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware.
