On Sept. 3, Ohio Wesleyan tested its OWU ALERT emergency notification system. All students and employees should have received an email sent to your owu.edu email account and a text message sent to your cell phone of record with the University. (You may have received a voice message, too.) If you have installed the CampusShield app on your phone, you should have received the OWU ALERT in the app, too.<\/p>\n
If you didn’t receive the ALERT, please check your phone’s spam folders. If messages were discarded, please mark them as “not spam.” Text messages may appear to come from 58843 and voice messages from 740-737-8880. Please add this phone number to your contacts as OWU ALERT so you will know it’s urgent.<\/p>\n
