{"id":131834,"date":"2026-08-27T08:00:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T12:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=131834"},"modified":"2026-08-26T17:43:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T21:43:11","slug":"how-to-print-on-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/how-to-print-on-campus\/","title":{"rendered":"OWU Upgrades Student Campus Printing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">OWU Print Services has launched an enhanced student printing experience to make printing faster, easier, and accessible directly from your personal devices.<\/div>\n<p>To print from your laptops and other devices, please follow these instructions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>WIRELESS PRINTING:<\/strong><br \/>\nDownload and install the student print driver:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentprint.owu.edu:9164\/setup\">https:\/\/studentprint.owu.edu:9164\/setup<\/a> and click the green Download button. (You must be on our campus network to access this web page. Students with Apple devices may see multiple security prompts.)<\/li>\n<li>Run the Mobility Print installer to install the driver on your device. If prompted to select a printer, select the only one and click OK.<\/li>\n<li>Once installed, you will see a new &#8220;OWU Student Print&#8221; print queue has been added to your device.<\/li>\n<li>Print documents, files, and images using the native print menu in your preferred application (Word, Excel, PDF, Web, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Visit your choice of the designated student printers, tap your Student ID card, and release your print job. (You will need to register your ID card one time using the proximity reader at any print station before releasing your first print job.)\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chemistry Computer Lab (limited access) \u2013 <\/strong>SCSC Room 351<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hayes Hall \u2013 <\/strong>First floor Computer Lab<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hobson Library <\/strong>\u2013 Print stations by Circulation Desk<\/li>\n<li><strong>Merrick Hall \u2013 <\/strong>First floor northeast<\/li>\n<li><strong>R.W. Corns <\/strong>\u2013 Computer Lab Room 109<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slocum Reading Room \u2013 <\/strong>Second floor<\/li>\n<li><strong>Welch Hall \u2013 <\/strong>First floor Computer Lab 1st Floor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For convenience, students can still print directly from campus lab computers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRINT CREDIT ALLOTMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each student is allotted $20 free print credits per semester. Unused balances are carried over from fall to spring and spring to summer, but are reset with the fall term.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$0.05 per page* for black and white ($20 = 400 pages)<\/li>\n<li>0.15 per page* for color ($20 = 133 pages)<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Each side of a piece of paper counts as a page.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Scanning to email is free and will send your documents to your email as PDF files.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.owu.edu\/about\/offices-services-directory\/information-services\/policies\/student-printing-policy\/\">Student Printing<\/a> section of the OWU website. For issues installing and using the Mobility Print app, please bring your device to the Information Services desk on the lower level of the R.W.
