Note: This notification contains information for students planning to participate in the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony.<\/p>\n

Dear OWU Seniors: To participate in the Spring 2026 Commencement<\/a>\u00a0Ceremony, students must have\u00a0at least 32 units in progress or completed\u00a0as of the Spring 2026 semester. While students must complete a minimum of\u00a034 units and all other\u00a0degree and GPA requirements<\/a>\u00a0to receive their degree from OWU, students with 32 units are permitted to participate in the Commencement Ceremony and may then finish the remaining units in the summer or fall.<\/p>\n

Students who have\u00a0fewer than 32 units are\u00a0not\u00a0permitted to participate in the Spring 2026 Commencement\u00a0Ceremony and will need to wait until the following spring. There are no exceptions to this policy.<\/p>\n

If you intend to participate in the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Review your\u00a0Degree Audit<\/a>\u00a0to confirm you have at least 32 units in progress or completed as of Spring 2026. This number will show as \u201cCredits Applied.”\u00a0Consider adding additional units if needed.<\/li>\n
  2. Discuss with your faculty advisor any steps you may need to take to reach the overall graduation requirements of at least 34 units and all other degree and GPA requirements<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Submit your\u00a0Graduation Application<\/a>\u00a0(if you have not already done so).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
