Did you know that you have control over your own academic records? It’s thanks to a federal law called the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which protects the privacy of your student information.<\/p>\n

This law gives you the right to:<\/p>\n

  1. Inspect and review your education records.<\/li>\n
  2. Request to amend records that you believe are inaccurate or misleading.<\/li>\n
  3. Control the disclosure of your records to others, including your parents or family.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you would like to grant access to your education records to a parent, guardian, or other third party, you must provide your consent.<\/p>\n
