Do you need to take the Language Placement Test<\/a>? Answer the questions below to find out.<\/p>\n

  1. Are you interested in taking Spanish, French, or German for OWU’s Learn a Second Language requirement?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Do you have some background in Spanish, French, or German?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Do you already have AP credit, transfer credit, a Seal of Biliteracy, or an OWU placement score for this language?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    If your answers are\u00a0(1) yes<\/strong>,\u00a0(2) yes<\/strong>, and\u00a0(3)<\/strong>\u00a0no<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0— you need to take the\u00a0Language Placement Test<\/a>. This brief online placement takes just 15 minutes to complete. Your score\u00a0will tell you whether to start in the 110 or 111 level. Any student whose score places them out of a language class will be asked to meet with a faculty member for a brief follow-up appointment to verify their level.<\/div>\n
