She was 59.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">A Columbus resident, Kathy worked as the administrative assistant for University Advancement and Vice President Natalie Doan for nearly a decade, retiring in 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her family shares that Kathy was a \u201cpassionate animal lover and devoted dog rescuer \u2026 known for her big heart and generous spirit, always opening her home to those in need. She found joy in the simple wonders of life: tending her garden, watching birds, and cherishing time in nature. \u2026 She was known for her unwavering optimism, kindness, and gift for making others feel seen and valued.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please join us in sharing our deepest sympathies with her husband, Carl Earls, their son, Cody Earls, and all who knew and loved Kathy. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Her family suggests contributions to Buckeye Bulldog Rescue, P.O.
