The Department of World Languages and Cultures, in collaboration with students from Professor Nieto’s class\u00a0Women and Power in Early Modern Spain,<\/em>\u00a0invites you to the performance\u00a0Historias amorosas no tan ejemplares<\/em>, by Mexican artists Paola Izquierdo.<\/p>\n

Based on novels by 17th-century writer Mar\u00eda de Zayas y Sotomayor, this one-woman cabaret-style show explores love\u2014and horror\u2014stories whose protagonists manage to survive. The play will be in Spanish.<\/p>\n
