{"id":124007,"date":"2024-12-09T08:00:24","date_gmt":"2024-12-09T13:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=124007"},"modified":"2024-12-08T16:28:25","modified_gmt":"2024-12-08T21:28:25","slug":"summer-2025-camp-counselors-wanted-for-owl-camp-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/summer-2025-camp-counselors-wanted-for-owl-camp-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer 2025 Camp Counselors Wanted for OWL Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OWL Camp is a summer residential (3 weeks) and day (2 weeks) camp for gifted and talented students in grades 5-8 held on the OWU campus each June and July.<\/p>\n<p>Residential Camp Counselor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>must have completed their college freshman year by June 2025.<\/li>\n<li>must be available June 6-26, 2025.<\/li>\n<li>compensation for residential counselors is $2,175 for the three weeks.<\/li>\n<li>counselors reside in the residence halls with campers; meals are provided during camp sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Residential applicants are eligible to work in both camps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Day Camp Counselor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>must be 16 years old before the 1st day of camp.<\/li>\n<li>must be available June 30-July 10, 2025.<\/li>\n<li>compensation for day camp counselors is $820 for the two weeks.<\/li>\n<li>housing is available at no cost, but not required (counselors under 18 not eligible for housing).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The application period opens Nov. 18, 2024, and remains open until all positions are filled.
