We\u2019re excited to announce the SLU Proposal application<\/a> is open! If you\u2019re passionate about creating a mission-driven, close-knit living space at Ohio Wesleyan, this is your opportunity to propose a new Small Living Unit (SLU). SLUs are unique communities aligned with OWU\u2019s Mission & Aims, providing students a chance to live with purpose alongside others with shared values. Here\u2019s how to start your SLU proposal process:<\/p>\n

  1. Build a Team<\/strong>: Connect with others who share your vision.<\/li>\n
  2. Find an Advisor<\/strong>: Select a faculty or staff member (not already advising a SLU) to guide your group\u2019s mission.<\/li>\n
  3. Ensure Eligibility<\/strong>: Applicants need a 2.0 GPA and a positive record with Community Standards.<\/li>\n
  4. Complete the Proposal Form<\/strong>: Due by Dec. 6, 2024, at 5 p.m.<\/li>\n
  5. Prepare for Your Presentation<\/strong>: Presentations will occur from Nov. 18 to Dec. 12, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Final decisions will be announced by Dec. 18, 2024. More information will be sent via email from reslife@owu.edu<\/a> on Nov. 18 or sooner. For questions, please reach out to reslife@owu.edu<\/a>. Current SLU members should contact their Moderator for renewal details.<\/p>\n
