New York Arts Program is extending our application deadline to\u00a0Monday, Nov. 4\u00a0specifically for Art Education students to apply for our Spring 2025 semester. ArtEd students now have the opportunity to participate in internships that fulfill student-teaching major requirements.<\/p>\n

NYAP’s ArtEd Track is a mentorship experience that invites students to take on the role of an artist educator through hands-on experience working with children in a progressive setting using the Reggio Emilia and Bank Street approaches. While working alongside seasoned art educators and administrators, students will learn to create and implement an anti-bias, emotionally responsive, and research-driven curriculum through engagement with a diverse student population in an urban setting. Project work, community care, and collaborative problem-solving are critical components fostered in this mentorship opportunity.<\/p>\n
