Fireworks will launch from the traditional location at the City\u2019s Cherry Street property at about 10 p.m.\u00a0Prior to fireworks, the Central Ohio Symphony will perform its traditional outdoor concert on the Ohio Wesleyan campus at 7:30 p.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralohiosymphony.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More information is here.<\/a> The day\u2019s activities get started with the annual parade, beginning at 11 a.m.\u00a0The route will follow past years, from the fairgrounds Liberty Street gate on Pennsylvania Avenue, to Sandusky Street, through the downtown to Wilmer Street to Henry Street.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 5<\/strong> \u2013 Main Street Delaware reports: First Friday boasts red, white, and blue \u2013 and every other color in the crayon box \u2013 during the \u201cChalk It Up for Freedom!\u201d sidewalk chalk art party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Artists of all types, from amateurs to professionals, along with businesses and nonprofits are all invited to show off their skills and turn the downtown sidewalks into art. There\u2019s no cost to participate.\u00a0In addition, you can catch free music downtown, made possible by PB&amp;J Framing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 17<\/strong> \u2013 The Martini Affair takes to the stage for Part 2 of Main Street Delaware&#8217;s Summer on Winter Concert Series from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on West Winter Street between Sandusky and Franklin streets. Admission is free. Two concerts follow this one on Aug. 21 featuring Gypsy Kyngs and Sept. 25 featuring RockHouse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturdays<\/strong> <strong>through Oct. 26<\/strong> \u2013 The Main Street Delaware Farmers\u2019 Market continues from 9 a.m. to noon.
