Febos is the author of the nationally bestselling essay collection, <em>Girlhood<\/em>, which has been translated into seven languages and was a LAMBDA Literary Award finalist, winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award in Criticism, and named a notable book of 2021 by\u00a0<em>NPR<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Time<\/em>. Her craft book,\u00a0<em>Body Work<\/em>\u00a0(2022), was a national bestseller, an\u00a0<em>LA Times<\/em> Bestseller, and an Indie Next Pick. She is a four-time MacDowell fellow and the recipient of a 2022 Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, a 2022 National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship, and the Jeanne C\u00f3rdova Award from LAMBDA Literary. She is a full professor with the University of Iowa&#8217;s Nonfiction Writing Program. Following the event, Febos will offer a Q&amp;A and book signing, where books will be available for purchase.
