HSF awards more than $30 million in Scholarships annually.<\/p>\n<p>Apply Now: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsf.net\/sign-up\/\">https:\/\/www.hsf.net\/sign-up\/<\/a> \u00a0(Phase 1 takes about 30 minutes. No essays are needed at this point.)<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be of Hispanic heritage.<\/li>\n<li>S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students.<\/li>\n<li>Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2024-2025 academic year.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Timeline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>March 1 \u2013 Finalists are announced March 1 and asked to submit essays, recommendations, transcripts, FAFSA, and other related documents.<\/li>\n<li>June \u2013 HSF Scholars are announced (includes both funded and Scholars waitlisted for funding).<\/li>\n<li>June to November \u2013 Final Document Verification (financial aid award letter, enrollment verification, and related documents).<\/li>\n<li>December \u2013 10,000 HSF Scholars are confirmed after the verification process is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply Now: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsf.net\/sign-up\/\">https:\/\/www.hsf.net\/sign-up\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Source: Office of Financial Aid<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2024 Hispanic Scholarship Fund scholar program application is now open and closes on Feb. 15, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET.
