{"id":117906,"date":"2023-11-27T08:00:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T13:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/?p=117906"},"modified":"2023-11-20T15:46:56","modified_gmt":"2023-11-20T20:46:56","slug":"celebrate-home-for-the-holidays-dec-1-3-with-tree-lighting-skating-parade-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/daily\/celebrate-home-for-the-holidays-dec-1-3-with-tree-lighting-skating-parade-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrate &#8216;Home for the Holidays&#8217; Dec. 1-3 with Tree Lighting, Skating, Parade, More!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Main Street Delaware\u2019s seventh annual \u201cHome for the Holidays\u201d weekend Dec. 1-3 will feature the lighting of the community Christmas tree, ice skating (including an OWU-only skate from 9-11 p.m. Friday), reindeer, a \u201cDash for Dasher\u201d scavenger hunt, the annual Christmas Parade, carriage rides, and, of course, Santa Claus!<\/p>\n<p>The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. Friday at William and Sandusky streets. Free community iceless (glice) skating will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on the JAYwalk, with an OWU-only student skate from 9-11 p.m. Friday. Sunday&#8217;s holiday parade will feature the Marching Bishops and OWU athletes.
