Check out the Bishop Elevate Internship Program!\u2728"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Faculty and Staff,<\/p>\n<p>At OWU, we believe that every student deserves access to valuable internship and research opportunities that can propel them toward a successful future. That&#8217;s why we are proud to introduce the Bishop Elevate Internship Program \u2014 a program designed exclusively for first-generation students. The Bishop Elevate Internship Program makes it possible for offices and departments facing budget constraints to create valuable internship experiences for first-generation students.<\/p>\n<p>For Spring 2024, Bishop Elevate is sponsoring one-time micro-internship opportunities for first-generation students. Micro-internships are short-term, paid, project-based assignments. In February 2024, applications will open again for the 2024-2025 Bishop Elevate Internship Program, alongside StAP and Legacy Internship Programs.<\/p>\n<p>The Bishop Elevate Internship Program allows students to work a maximum of 8 hours per week for 15 weeks. Students are paid at a rate of $10.75\/hour.<\/p>\n<p>You can propose an internship position for Spring 2024 at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/BishopElevateInternshipProposal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/bit.ly\/BishopElevateInternshipProposal&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1697199323690000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0byWzz5zzQo-Sls5OsyXZo\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/BishopElevateInternshipProposal<\/a>. Proposals will be accepted until Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Noon.
