Looking for something to do Monday night? Come join Orchesis Dance Company in participating in an improvisation dance workshop taught by movement and teaching artist Katherine G. Moore! This event is free and open to all students. All you need to bring is water and be dressed to move!<\/p>\n
Please fill out the Google form below<\/strong> so ODC can gauge how many students plan on attending the workshop. The workshop, named \u201cImprovisation as training,\u201d will be a movement workshop exploring dance improvisation as a method of understanding the body from the inside out. Through improvisational movement, participants will learn to tune in to impulse, explore their own physical facility, and increase dynamic range.<\/p>\n Katherine is offering a second follow-up workshop on Sept. 27 \u00a0from 6-9 p.m., but only for those who attend the initial workshop on Sept. 18. This workshop, named \u201cImprovisation as Choreography,\u201d will be a movement workshop exploring dance improvisation as a tool for the creative process.
