Please submit news for parents and families using this<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/newsforowufamilies\/new-at-owu-submissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/newsforowufamilies\/new-at-owu-submissions\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1688564424622000&amp;usg=AOvVaw29koDjMIYPIDeHv8G47vZu\">\u00a0News for OWU Families form<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>noon Friday, Aug. 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This monthly email communication is sent to all parents and families of\u00a0<strong><em>current students<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and mimics the style and process of the OWU Daily.\u00a0\u00a0The average open rate for spring 2023 was 64%! Families are reading it!<\/p>\n<p>Tips: 1) eliminate OWU jargon, abbreviations, or acronyms from your emails; 2) use \u2018family\u2019 or \u2018parents and families\u2019; 3) consider your voice and tone \u2013 direct your message to\u00a0<em>families\u00a0<\/em>(not students).<\/p>\n<p>During the academic year, emails will be sent on the first Wednesday of every month. Submissions will be due the Friday before each email release.\u00a0The goal of this digest is to keep parents and families informed, engaged, and supplied regularly with resources.<\/p>\n<p>Please plan to review\u00a0with your team on a monthly basis what information is of value to parents and families from your area.
