As the winter grows shorter and the cold weather gives way to spring, what better way to break the ice than with delicious ice cream from Graeters. OWU Counseling Services is offering FREE ice cream including toppings, during a one hour meet and greet with the OWU Counselors. Meeting the counselors will provide a unique opportunity for students to ask questions and learn more about services offered at the counseling center and through community based mental health organizations. It allows a positive interaction between students and counselors in a relaxed and informal environment, while increasing students\u2019 knowledge of their overall wellness.
\nThis event is sponsored by Counseling Services and the office of Student Engagement and Success in an effort to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and improve visibility and connection within the campus community.
\nAlthough this is NOT an individual counseling session, this is an opportunity to engage with a mental health professional and discuss strategies for self-care in order to give you the tools to achieve your academic goals!<\/p>\n
