QPR is an evidence-based suicide intervention training developed by the QPR Institute. QPR teaches anyone how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and follow the 3 simple steps of QPR – Question, Persuade, and Refer to get people the help they need. QPR training will be hosted by Brian Emerick, Director of Residential Life. Brian is a certified QPR instructor with over 10 years of QPR experience. Training will take place in the Stuy Fishbowl on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. The Fishbowl is located on the ground floor of Stuyvesant Hall past the kitchen and stage.<\/p>\n
