This fall, Provost Karlyn Crowley will be teaching a new, 0.25 unit course called UC 120: The Future of College. This course is centered on fundamental questions about college in the modern age: What is college for and how do colleges operate? What are the biggest challenges faced by colleges today? What will college be like in 50 or 100 years?<\/p>\n<p>This course will explore a range of topics including college costs, issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion; curricular trends; student life issues like mental health; admission challenges (and even scandals); and the usefulness of the liberal arts.
