However, many people can relate to parts of the first-gen experience or want to build cross-class solidarity, and all are welcome to attend!<\/p>\n<p>The event is co-organized by Dawn Chisebe (Interim Chief Diversity Officer), Paul Dean (Associate Professor, Sociology\/Anthropology), Megan Ellis (Executive Director, Career Connections), Brad Pulcini (Dean of Student Services), Jason Timpson (Director, OMSA), and Mallorie Watts (First-Gen Program Coordinator, Student).<\/p>\n<p>This initial event will be the first of several events to raise awareness and build community.
