Apply Here\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3tMHUDL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/3tMHUDL<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Career Connection Intern promotes advertising efforts targeted to students regarding Career Connection\u2019s events and services. This Intern will also meet with students for resume\/cover letter review, drop-in career advising, and other basic career-related needs.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Marketing &amp; Public Relations:<br \/>\n\u2022 Creatively develop and implement advertising campaigns for all Career Connection Events including career fairs, employer spotlights, bi-weekly newsletter, etc. This includes posting on Instagram, writing OWU Daily\u2019s, and making Canva images.<br \/>\n\u2022 Represent Career Connection in a positive and professional manner while enthusiastically working toward solutions for OWU students.<\/p>\n<p>Peer Coach (will receive training):<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist students in career resume\/cover letter review and with basic drop-in questions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop a thorough understanding of career-related services and programs our office offers.<br \/>\n\u2022 Teach students how to sign up and use Handshake (our job and internship platform) during advising appointments<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<br \/>\n1. Creative\/Artistic skills\u2212 writing advertisements, creating posters, flyers, banners, and social media posts, etc.<br \/>\n2. Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, possess initiative, and have a strong motivation to complete projects.<br \/>\n3. Excellent communication skills; emphasis on writing and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n4. Knowledge of Google Suite &amp; Microsoft Word<br \/>\n5.
