Biography

Jordanne Wells is an Author, Speaker, Certified Financial Educator and Transformational Finance Coach, who has been featured on Good Morning America, CNBC, the Huff Post, Time Magazine’s Personal Finance Subscription – Next Advisor, and many other sites. She’s the founder of Wise Money Women (a company which helps women achieve unshakeable confidence, undeniable peace and unbeatable freedom) and Wealth From Scratch (a platform that helps first generational wealth builders master the rules of money so they create holistic wealth beyond their wallets). She’s a self professed well being and money nerd and is happy to share her mistakes and triumphs to benefit others.

Jordanne believes personal finance knowledge is for all, but as a past international student, and woman of color herself, would like to ensure she is of service to international students, as well as African American students (and other minority students).

She is happy to connect with students and alumni on all topics Personal Finance Related (budgeting, credit/credit cards, investing, saving, etc), and Career Advice (resume writing, surviving corporate America etc).

  • Conducting a virtual webinar
  • Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
  • Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviewing, panels, etc.
  • Hosting a “Career Trek/visit” with a group of students & OWU staff

While at Ohio Wesleyan Jordanne majored in Economics with a minor in Sociology. She was also an active member of Rafiki Wa Afrika and SUBA.
