Hayden is a nurse who has worked in the hospital setting as well as community health. Hayden completed a year with the National Health Corps in Pittsburgh after graduating from OWU and went on to get a second degree in nursing. Hayden has experience in oncology nursing, emergency medicine, and home health. Hayden’s current position is at a student healthcare center at Chatham University where she sees students in a clinical setting as well as plan public health programming for the university and run a small food pantry for the students.
Hayden is looking to support students interested in careers in public service, public health, and nursing. Hayden is willing to be a resource in the following ways:
- Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
- Mentoring a student
- Assisting OWU Alumni
- Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
- Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviewing, panels, etc.
- Hosting a student for an externship or shadowing experience
At OWU, Hayden studied Psychological, Political, and Social Perspectives on Healthcare, and had a minor in Studio Art – 2D Design. She was involved with Greek Life & College Democrats.
