Ben is a fundraising and nonprofit management professional in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan in 2007 with concentrations in Politics & Government and Sociology/Anthropology, Ben explored consulting roles in Washington, D.C. and Columbus, Ohio before settling as a nonprofit fundraising consultant in Atlanta. Seeking a front-line stakeholder engagement role, Ben then spent nearly five years managing top corporate, foundation and individual partnerships with United Way of Greater Atlanta. Since 2019, Ben has been with the Rheumatology Research Foundation, where he is responsible for engaging the support of mid and major gift donors and prospects nationwide. Ben earned his MBA from the University of Georgia in 2020.
He is happy to provide ongoing support on career management, job searching, networking, mentoring, work/life balance, nonprofit sector, fundraising, graduate school, and business school to any interested individual and offer services by:
- Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
- Mentoring a student
- Assisting OWU Alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
- Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
- Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviews, panels, etc.
Ben was a Politics & Government major with minors in Sociology/Anthropology at OWU. He was involved in Greek Life, student government, the school newspaper, and College Democrats.
