Laura Weichel works with quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives for Wingspan Care Group’s nonprofit agencies. She brings more than 12 years of diverse, social impact-driven work experience in nonprofit and healthcare administration.

Laura majored in International Studies and minored in Sociology and Humanities/Classics. While at OWU, she was involved in the SLU community, led a spring break mission trip, and attended the Chicago Center for Urban Life and Culture for a sociology practicum. After OWU, she became immersed in the nonprofit community in Cleveland while she completed her Masters of Nonprofit Administration.

Laura is comfortable speaking about resume writing, interview preparation, transferable skills, and Careers with Social Impact. She is hoping to support students pursuing International Studies, Sociology / Anthropology, Careers with Social Impact, and the greater OWU Community with the following:

• Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
• Conducting a virtual webinar
• Assisting OWU Alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
• Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
• Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviewing, panels, etc.
