Jeremiah Anderson is an economic development and nonprofit leader dedicated to advancing
regional prosperity, business growth, and community impact. As Development Manager for the
Will County Center for Economic Development, he leads investor engagement, strategic
partnerships, and marketing initiatives that support business attraction, workforce
development, and economic growth across one of the fastest-growing regions in the Midwest.
Previously, Jeremiah served as Development Associate at Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where he
strengthened donor engagement strategies, increased donor retention by 15% and
coordinated fundraising campaigns that generated more than $100,000 in contributions.
Jeremiah serves on the Associate Board of Cabrini Green Legal Aid, supporting the
organization’s mission to remove barriers to equity for individuals impacted by the criminal
legal system. He is passionate about leveraging economic development, entrepreneurship, and
cross-sector collaboration to expand opportunity, promote equitable resource allocation, and
strengthen communities.
Jeremiah holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Africana, Gender, and Identities Studies
from Ohio Wesleyan University and completed the Summer Venture Management Program at
Harvard Business School. His work is driven by a commitment to fostering inclusive economic
growth, empowering future leaders, and creating lasting impact across the public, private, and
nonprofit sectors
