An OWU alumna from the Class of 2006, holds degrees in Microbiology and Genetics and has built a career directing research activities in the pharmaceutical industry. Her work focuses on drug discovery and development, including identifying potential drug targets, evaluating drug efficacy, and examining how emerging therapies may address specific diseases, with a strong foundation in immunology.

A Woman in STEM and former student-athlete, she was deeply involved on campus through Delta Zeta, Rugby, Cross Country, Track & Field, SLUs, WinS, and pursued a piano minor.

She is enthusiastic about supporting current science majors and the broader OWU community. She is available on an ongoing, case-by-case basis a few times per year. She is happy to assist in the following ways:

– Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
– Presenting to a class in-person
– Presenting to a student organization
– Conducting a virtual webinar
– Mentoring a student
– Assisting OWU Alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
– Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
– Hosting a student for an externship or shadowing experience
– Hosting a “Career Trek/visit” with a group of students & OWU staff
