Biography

Emma Nuiry is the Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations at RCG Talent Solutions. In her role, she oversees operations for talent acquisition processes for executive, director and managerial roles in the non-profit and educational sectors.

Prior to RCG, Emma worked as the Scholarship Programs Manager at Point Foundation, the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ scholarship foundation. In that role, she managed the selection of and programs for 134 undergraduate, graduate and community college scholarship recipients. This included facilitating scholar-designed community service projects, conducting cognitive bias training for application readers and planning leadership conferences and workshops.

Emma would be happy to chat with students interested in non-profit organizations, talent acquisition work and/or students that have an interest in social impact. She’s also eager to speak about being a queer professional, being “out” on your resume and navigating imposter syndrome early in your career. She is open to:

  • Speaking with a student 1:1 on campus
  • Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
  • Presenting to a student organization
  • Mentoring a student
  • Assisting OWU alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
  • Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or alumni
  • Presenting to a class in-person
  • Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviewing, panels, etc.

Emma graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2017 with a double major in Sociology and Women & Gender studies and a minor in Black World Studies. At OWU, Emma was a member of the Peace and Justice House, Kappa Alpha Theta, a senator on the Wesleyan Council on Student Affairs, treasurer of the Women & Gender Studies student board, and a Women’s Resource Center intern. As an alumni, she is involved in the Reunion committee.
