Carl currently collaborates as an Environmental Educator and Outreach Lead for the Office of Environmental Education at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, coordinating efforts among agencies and private entities in the sustainability and circularity space. Brings over 30 years of experience as an Environmental Compliance & Enforcement Coordinator for the Division of Materials and Waste Management at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. Served as the coordinator for the consistent application of statewide solid and infectious waste, as well as construction and demolition debris compliance and enforcement issues. Led statewide enforcement and compliance monitoring initiatives, including background check programs. Collaborated closely with legal staff and the Attorney General’s Office on injunctions, case appeals, and legal advisement. Additionally, drafted complex technical regulations for state code, as well as interpretive guidance documents and other technical correspondence. Carl is happy to assist in the following ways:

-Presenting to a student organization
-Mentoring a student
-Assisting OWU Alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
-Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
-Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviewing, panels, etc.
-Hosting a student for an externship or shadowing experience
