Betsy is a general pediatrician in primary care. She founded her clinic as a private practice in 2005, and in 2024, the clinic joined the University of Wisconsin system. She was a small business owner for 19 years and is now an employed physician.

She has been highly involved in the American Academy of Pediatrics, including participation in a national network of private practice pediatricians. As President of the Wisconsin chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics from 2025 to 2027, she advocates for children across the state and collaborates with pediatricians and other medical organizations. Betsy is happy to assist in the following ways:

-Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
-Mentoring a student
-Assisting OWU Alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
-Hosting a “Career Trek/visit” with a group of students & OWU staff
